Our next book selection, “Interior Chinatown,” by Charles Yu, is a satirical look at the experiences of a Chinese-American man, who must deal with Asian-American stereotypes, while he struggles to get a foothold as an actor in Hollywood.
The novel was the winner of the 2020 National Book Award for fiction, was longlisted for the 2021 Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction and shortlisted for the Prix Médicis étranger.
